The timer works as it should. My only complaint is that if you email a parameter to someone else who has the application installed (or even yourself), opening the attachment doesnt truly import all the data: it only imports the name, and you still have to go and add times and names.

Simple and practical. Perhaps a wee bit too simple. Some pulldown menus might make life a little easier. But otherwise a lovely little app.

great app, but would like to download more profiles for different types of coffee, as well as the calculation of the amount of water and coffee brewing time in automatic mode, changing one variable.

Any updates coming soon? Is there a way to get support for the app? I would like to offer a suggestion.

Bloom is great for any of you coffee connoisseurs out there. It includes all of the respected brew methods among third wave coffeeshops (except maybe Café Solo, used by Intelligentsia). It is very clean and minimal and allows you to set multiple sequential timers for different brew stages. Smart. Just what I needed. I would like some sort of coffee weight tracking; if I buy a 0.5 lb bag, Id like to know about how many cups that will make me, and how many I have remaining (similar to "Tea" by Mac Tyler).

This is a great app, it is simple and easy to use. It has an audible alert in respect to the timer which is convenient. The only thing I would like to have included is a conversion table for the units this app uses (grams). Maybe in an update! Highly recommend this app for any coffee fanatic.

This program has much potential. How come you cant add brew methods? (use existing symbols or make more, please.) Allow us to add and edit the parameters of added brew method. That would be ideal, Ill give 5 stars when these things happen.

Hope to see updates in the near future, but love this basic version for its simplistic usability.

Really gorgeous and the perfect tool for the job. I really love that I can close the app and get a notification when my drink is ready! The timer looks simply fantastic. Highly recommend.

Really easy to use, nice audio prompts allows me to perfect the timing on standard drinks or my custom creations.

Really simple and helpful but would love to have an area to include the type of grind for each method.

Works great, glad someone finally made it. You can put grind next to coffee in the notes if you need to.

Bloom is so simple and beautiful, it just works! A tool that will be used daily. Would love to have a default aeropress method on there. Totally recommend this app.

I use this application multiple times a day, at work and at home. The timers are invaluable; setting up new brew recipes is easy and quick. I like the custom icons for different brew methods, which are helpful but stay out of the way. Highly recommended.

Wonderful app, the customizable timers and steps are well executed. Adding a field to note grind consistency would make this complete.

Update: Restarted my phone and no problems so far. Love it. Would really love a notes section too for keeping cupping notes for certain parameters. I really like the app, especially since I can add my own methods and measurements, such as cupping parameters, but the next time I open the app, anything new that I created is gone. Really frustrating.

Basically this is a timer that features customizable sequences. The selling point is supposed to be that multiple brewing methods can be created and saved. But ask yourself, "Do I change the device I use to brew my coffee everyday?" If youre like me you have one device (french press here) and therefore only need timer settings for that device. Hence, the rest of the app is useless and youre paying $3.00 for a sequential timer. (tweeting my brew settings?! really?! Should we use #twitterisbereftofallmeaning?) That being said, I think I have a cool idea for another way to use this app that has nothing to do with coffee so it might pay for itself anyway.

Not only do I love this app but I love the customer service. I suggested some features to the developer that would allow us to better use this at work and got an email back committing to adding the features. Awesome. I just realized a new feature Id like, ability to import and export, so we can share profiles. Or someone could post the stumptown, intelligencia, etc profiles for different brew methods and we could see their standards easily. We will have at least 4 iPod touches with this app on it, the ability to share profiles would be killer. Love this app.
